About Yojana Mela
Project name ‘Yojana Mela’ is a joint initiative of Amazon Development Centre (India) Private Limited (The donor) and CSC Academy (the recipient). Samridhi, the Financial Well-being initiative for INOps aims to ensure timely and convenient access to a basket of government financial programs which help create a long-term impact for associates and their families. As a start to this initiative, Samridhi Camps have been set-up with support from CSC across Amazon sites to enable associates to enroll into these programs.
The objective of the project is;
To facilitate access to 2 (Two) government schemes to the Amazon site workers through VLE network/CSC Centres.
This project pertains to facilitation of 2 (two) government schemes through CSC networks. The details of the project are provided below.
Name of the Schemes:
The two schemes are issuance of
- eSHRAM Card
- Pradhan Mantri Jan Arogya Yojana (PM JAY) card or ABHA Card (If not eligible for PMJAY)
E –Shram Yojana
E-Shram Yojana is an initiative of the Government of India to provide social security to workers in unorganized sectors. Through the e-Shram Yojana, the labourers and workers in an unorganized sector can get various benefits, such as death insurance, financial aid in case of incapacity, etc linked to PMSBY. The CSCs all over the country facilitated the unorganised workers to get registered on E-Shram portal.

Pradhan Mantri Jan Arogya Yojana (PM JAY)
Ayushman Bharat PM-JAY is the largest health assurance scheme in the world which aims at providing a health cover of Rs. 5 lakhs per family per year for secondary and tertiary care hospitalization to over 10.74 crores poor and vulnerable families. CSC SPV and Ministry of health and Family Welfare signed an MoU on 31 July’ 2018 to implement the Ayushman Bharat Scheme through thr CSC network actoss the country.

ABHA CARD
The Ayushman Bharat Health Account (ABHA), which was earlier known as Ayushman Bharat Health ID was launched by the Indian government in 2021 and is aimed at providing a digital health ID to the population. This was launched by the National Health Authority (NHA), which is part of the Ministry of Health and Family Welfare. As per the government, ABHA is the “first step towards creating safer and efficient digital health records for you and your family.
ABHA is a unique health ID that uses a 14-digit identification number and can be generated using an Aadhaar card or your mobile number. It allows users to share their health records digitally with hospitals, clinics, insurance providers and others.
The benefits of ABHA are as follows –:
One can access all your medical records such as lab reports, prescriptions and diagnoses on the platform.
One can use the platform to easily share your medical records with hospitals, clinics and insurance providers.
This will make it easier for you to present your medical records even if you are in a different city or state.
Citizens can create their unique ABHA without any cost.
